We are passionate about driving the demand for naturally dyed, sustainable textiles

Cloth is a sustainably led
contemporary textile studio & dye house.

We are on a mission to remove pollutants from our industry and eradicate toxins from our homes & wardrobes.
Inspiring the interiors, homeware & fashion markets to embrace British, climate-positive cloth
that is good for our environment, our communities, and our wellbeing.

Washing

Just as our cloth takes time to create, it also requires care & attention for it to remain looking beautiful.

Natural dyes are PH sensitive - we highly recommend using an eco-friendly and PH neutral detergent to wash your cloth such as Kinn’s eco-friendly laundry detergent.

If you do spill anything acidic (wine, ketchup, vinegar) or alkali on your cloth, do not attempt to spot clean your product. It is highly likely that this will fade the cloth in that particular area.

Instead, hand wash your cloth by letting it soak in a diluted bath of Kinn’s laundry detergent for approximately 2hrs or use a cold machine wash cycle.
Do not mix two items that have been naturally dyed in different colours.

Our preferred partners for outsourcing the cleaning of your cloth are Blanc Living.

Drying

To dry your cloth, we recommend laying it flat over a drying wrack, on top of an old towel.

Always air dry your cloth in the shade as, over time, direct sunlight can cause the natural pigments to fade.

Never dry your cloth in a tumble dryer.

Redyeing Service

As part of our commitment to practice a circular economy, we offer a re-dying service so that your cloth is made to last.

From our products to our lengths, stylists to interior designers to private buyers, we will re-colour your cloth and renew it for years to come.

We practice a circular economy.
Designing out waste and pollution, keeping products
and materials in use, and regenerating natural systems.

End of life

Our textiles are woven from natural fibres and are dyed naturally.
So should you ever have to part with it, your cloth can be composted at home and returned to the soil.

This practice is known as ‘soil-to-soil’ and is a conscious part of our production as a brand.
